Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with individuals (15+) facing a range of internal challenges, with a particular focus on:

    • OCD & Anxiety: Utilising extensive experience in both group and individual ERP.

    • Identity & Transitions: Supporting those navigating major life changes or exploring their sense of self.

    • Trauma & Healing: Using a trauma-informed lens to help you move forward safely.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities including ACT, CBT, IFS, and ERP. I tailor these tools to your unique story, ensuring our work feels both practical and deeply personal. Feel free to read more about this in the ‘Services’ section.

If you have questions about these modalities or want to see if they are the right fit for you, feel free to reach out via the ‘Get in Touch’ form.

  • Inner Psychology is a 100% telehealth practice. While I am currently based in Australia, I will be relocating to Berlin later this year. I will continue to support Australian clients via a secure video platform, offering sessions that fit into your Australian schedule.

  • We meet via a secure, encrypted telehealth platform specifically designed for healthcare. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with a unique link for our video call.

    • Privacy: Our sessions are never recorded without your consent, and your data is stored on a platform that meets the highest Australian privacy standards (Privacy Act 1988).

    • No Downloads Needed: You don't need any special software, the link works directly in your web browser. Just ensure you are in a private, quiet space with a stable internet connection.

    • Connection: All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection. If we ever have a technical glitch, I will call you on your provided contact number to continue our session.

  • Our sessions are a space where you can show up as you are, without judgement. I’ll support you with evidence-based tools where helpful, while keeping the process flexible and guided by what you need in the moment. No one session is alike. Some may be more reflective, while others may be more practical.

  • Working with OCD and anxiety can feel overwhelming at first. In our early sessions, the focus is on helping you feel grounded, supported, and in control of the pace. We'll start by building education around OCD, practical tools to help you manage anxiety in the long term, and when you feel ready, we'll gently begin exposure work together.

  • Standard 50-minute telehealth consultations are $170. Initial consultations for first time clients are $185.

As a private-pay practice, we offer a streamlined service with no GP referral required.

This model allows us to begin working together immediately, without the administrative hurdles or session caps associated with Medicare.

  • No, Inner Psychology operates as a private-pay practice meaning we do not process Medicare rebates. This allows us to focus entirely on your wellbeing without being limited to 10 sessions per year.

  • Yes! I welcome NDIS participants who are Self-Managed.

Due to the nature of our small practice, we can only work with self-managed clients or those able to pay upfront and seek reimbursement from their plan manager.

If you aren't sure how your plan is managed, you can find this information on your NDIS portal or in your planning paperwork.

  • To keep our focus entirely on your session, payment is required on the day of your appointment. For your convenience and security, you have two options:

    • Autopay: You can securely store your card details via Halaxy for automatic, encrypted processing after each session.

    • Manual Invoice: You can receive an electronic invoice via email to pay manually on the day.

Your security is our priority; all financial data is handled through a PCI-compliant, encrypted system.

  • Life happens, and I understand it can be messy. Whether it’s sudden illness or unexpected hurdles, I know things come up. Because I’ve dedicated this hour specifically to you, I ask for as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.

    • Notice under 48 hours: 50% of the session fee applies.

    • Notice under 24 hours: The full session fee applies.

For Monday sessions: Please reach out by Friday afternoon.

I know these boundaries can feel strict, but as a small practice, late cancellations affect your therapist (who has prepared for your session) and others who may need that time.

  • As a telehealth practice, I am unable to provide emergency or crisis intervention services. Because I may be in a different time zone, I cannot guarantee an immediate response outside of our scheduled sessions.

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact:

    • Lifeline: 13 11 14

    • Suicide Call Back Service: 1300 659 467

    • Emergency Services: 000

    • Or present to your nearest hospital emergency department.
